OR, if you're Buddhist, it could be an ancestor's sin or a sin from a previous life which your child has to pay for. In which case, you call the Shamon to come and pay due penance. Seems to work in lots of different belief systems. Why single one out? Many people are moving away from these unfounded beliefs, believe it or not.
