It's good that you're stating what your own experience on a matter is, but don't forget to be respectful of someone who adheres to a belief you tried and left behind.

There was nothing ambushing or baiting about MG's post(s) that I can find. Perhaps you shouldn't act like there already is a problem there and respond accordingly.

To say something is tiring is a valid reaction or feeling, whether you welcome it or not - don't invalidate it, or read into it for debate. Keep it simple.

Now I will express what I think is tiring and overused in your posts: "Ambushing," "trap," "baiting Christians," "honesty," "manly," "sincerity," "suckered me," "Tsk, tsk!" “testing the waters,” "telling the truth, although not ALL of the truth," "I am dealing with someone less than manly and honest," "Think about it." "Get real; dude!" "hope that you choose to apply that knowledge in a manner denoting actual wisdom"

And you think MG is subtly disrespectful?

What I can see is MG was specifying his preferences that he be allowed to share his journey without being reminded every post that not everything conforms to the bible. Please allow him the space.
