Susie did NOT attempt to "divide the troops" because we are not a united army with one vision and one goal and one belief or one journey after getting out of the Family.
What she posted was helpful to me because I AM in a same sex relationship and not at all ashamed of it. Neither do I feel like it is a "weakness of my flesh".
I don't need yours or anyone elses lectures according to your opinions based on YOUR beliefs and your interpretations of the Bible. I know plenty of Christians who do not pigeon hole me according to my sexuality and call me weak or hellbound because my lifestyle differs from the majority and I don't intend to be weak and "repent" for what is not a "sin" according to my beliefs.
Do you see how you dig your own pit when you constantly tear some down while assigning yourself to be the savior of people who are errant according to your beliefs and who do not want to be verbally bashed for their differences whether it be because they are currently and maybe forever agnostic, atheist, same sex oriented, new age influenced, etc?
Bottom line, we are adults here and no longer children. I would rather burn in hell forever than have a God so narrow that he would fry for eternity people who fall in love with the "wrong" gender or who do not acknowledge his existence but lead basically good lives. In fact I think the whole hell concept is based in control by fear.
I know what hell is. I have been there but I am not there anymore.
