Jo, what you & others here totally overlook is, that people with faith, Christians are a branch, part of the vine...also journeys: I am the way...so if that is my real journey - with Jesus - like the two disciples at Emmaus, then you can prefer to see me as Jürgen, who was born in West-Berlin at blah..blah time.What about rebirth?So for others it's only in my mind, an illusion...but I contend: you're not only dealing with Jürgen, but also with the vine & the vine is Jesus.
Sure, you find Christians, who tone it down...they call it love & understanding...as a matter of fact, I know the son of a preacher, who was once married to a female churchmember, has several children & then had his coming out.I used to be quite understanding of homosexuals while in TF & partly after TF...but I am taking things stricter now, because scipture is less lenient, than many people would have it, understandable, but I am not interested in being man's friend above the friend of God.
I had my "quarrels"/"battles" with God & didn't like much, what He "allowed" me to go through...looking back, I would have liked it different, but I think the endresult is more important & for some reason, I didn't find the straight & narrow sooner.
It's up to you how you react towards the message of the Bible...since I am agreeing to it's message, you think you should blame me for agreeing to it?
