well, the zealous Christian board that was set up was a miserable failure. Not only it lacked diversity and it quickly became cultic in nature, it even sported a historic online exorcism, among various other things. It tumbled down rather quickly.

I think that showed what the problem is. The problem is not about having different faiths, the problem is when some people of different faith are intolerant, self-righteous, and act stupid in the name of their self-declared religion.

Where are people going to learn? There are already boards like NDN, in fact most if not all ex-member first generation boards are of (assumed) Christian faith. It seems to be the unspoken default. I think if we need another board at all we need a satirical comedy board to make spoofs about people who need to use religion to feel or exert control over themselves or others. Were their Jesus or the real Jesus (if there was or is a real one) posting on these boards, we wouldn't even need this conversation, I think. Jesus would not want wc to have to go through all this shit for nothing.

Real spirituality does not need declarations. It is felt by the attitude and soulful behavior of the people who inhabit it.
