My post below was about Muslims, not Hindus. I was never in India and didn't see some of the strange stuff they do, though your story about sticking themselves through with skewers and fishing hooks in their tongues and flesh wigged me out. That's a new take on "no pain no gain" I guess. But doing it to their little children too, that's too much.
