i was going to say don't bring my mother into it,but I was the one. yes i do respect her. i suffered heavy abuse under her care. when i saw myself becoming like her and hitting my own children i confronted a lot in myself. then i confronted her. we made our peace before she died. i may have spanked my children but now i know it was wrong, and so do they, i have asked for their forgiveness.
