I am very glad you found peace...it's not only about TF (my battle for peace in the daily challenges)...I found peace about that too, but it's also about the daily consequences from bad decisions then in TF...let's say how marriage/remarriage was handled...which can rob the peace...to which one/I have to flee/search in prayer at times about it...which is good after all
The trail of destruction TF left is so big for such a small group, that I don't know how "good" it could fare in comparison with other "weird" groups in history...something, I figure ultimately only the Lord can do
But I must say the catholic church is doing very bad (latest by now evident) so I don't know which church you had in mind, but their scandals are really "giving TF some glimpse of hope/comfort through companionship in rightful opposition to them"...it could probably easily be said, that there were very good catholics after all in history and some good TFers..let's assume that for a moment...after all I met some real nice people there, but really also with a naive look at the scriptures/Bible and a mysterious/satanic trust in false prophet Berg
That is so bad, that it's useless in my opinion to
"patch" history...the personal or communal past..
In OT-times I vaguely remember, you had to leave a house, which was having too bad a fungus problem...even nowadays you can hardly salvage a house plagued deeply by it...sometimes it's really better to tear things down and let the sunlight in...moving on, leaving rubble behind.
