no pleasure to reason with...ultimately he's always (emphasis on always) right...although he is several times and I must confess I was rather siding with him on the hillsong-
issue...after all, I took Jewlz' information as very serious (plus what is found in the internet about hillsong...funds e.g. is not too comforting)...plus some other details here and there...bottomline though is for me, that he sounds incredibly selfrighteous...and being a lawyer probably added to that..right now there is a courtcase going on in Germany against a very popular weathernews-moderator for raping one of his many girlfriends...his new defense attorney is such a pain in the ass...incredible...more like a showman in his own grandeur...

OK..even notorious atheist/agnostic Spiegel-magazine once had an article about "loverboy" R.Dawkins (sorry for my contempt there)...[PW would remind me to love all man including R.D....ok...let me try to swallow that poison...]...and if I remember right, they also found him to be as sectarian, activistic/fundamentalistic as those he accuses...

If I get the time I link an youtube debate between him, "just a biologist"..and an Oxford mathematician (believer)..

I posted it several times here...a mathematician ranks for me in logic "above" the biologist...plain as simple...because the logic behind Biology is far beyond that we comprehend now (and what they studied...including maths for biologists in curriculum is far beneath that for math or engineering)...not even scientists of applied mathematics would assume that (normally, unless unbelief goes to their head as well)...(apart from noble prize winners in physics who do believe in God...I guess for P.B. they are a bunch of "mindless"...whatever)

Therefore in the core P.B. strikes me as hard to impossible to reason with...anyone who's that haughty in his unbelief...can at the maximum be lauded for the very good he does...informing...beyond that there is no discussion possible (from my perspective...for believers I'd say)...we tried here...and see his own website...he likes to go on and on dissecting the posts of the other...putting the other down.

If anyone would ask me whether I would like to have P.B.'s stand ...swapped/or replaced against mine of today...plus 8 billion...Dollars or ehem Euros or better the equivalent in gold ; ) ....plus a woman of my choice and some other treats...I would say...hell no...

I would say like chazz...if I were not a believer...I would beat it to some retreat...the world as it is is hard to take...

I think voting about that makes no sense to me...it's not outvoting unbelievers against believers etc....to me it's ultimately respecting people's choices and also to be fair (free choice) ,...P.B. does that...he's not like muslim fundamentalists, who give people the choice of converting or head off...his position is not the ultimate consolation either though...so I wish him a good journey

P.S....as he is so easily offended...at least comments on that on his blog again...I wonder whether he would be one of those who sues governments etc. for being partial on religious and semi/pseudo religious issues...one "stupid" guy filed against the German government..as the German tax declaration needs to know the religious affiliations (by tradition, you can pay church taxes to the Catholic or lutheran church, which, being a member, is automatically deducted)...he thought, that was too much private information...such the abstruse reasonings of some atheist or in his case haters of the catholic church or whatever...I think he happened to be a homosexual.
So far the case has been slammed...do they have anything else to do?...not to mention the stupid cases against crucifixes in the classroom or offices...I am not really for it...but to waste my time on it?...and that is Dawkins' intention, to have more "rights" for the atheists... oh well Dawkins..Darwin...not exactly the pride of England
