I was speaking more in generalities about the "outcast" issue. I don't feel outcasted because I don't live in a society where I am forced to comply with any one religion, or in a community where I would feel oppressed by the dogma of any religion.
Also, if some people believe that there is just a smart accumulation of matter and nothing more than that, I don't think they are idiots. I think that is the conclusion they have and it does not mean they are not accountable to laws or don't have personal values.
At the same time I understand how important your belief is to you and I am glad you have something that makes you feel fulfilled. I wouldn't call you an idiot because you have a Christian belief. I wouldn't call an atheist an idiot if they didn't have a belief in anything more than smart accumulation.
As far as "where did matter come from"? It's amazing to me how much there is that is far from understood, which is why scientists have an endless pool to swim around in and discover things as technology and brain power allows. For me, fax machines are amazing. lol
