I can sympathise with you/understand you due to a lot of very similar twists in my life...that kind of gives one a glimpse, understanding...compassion, love...for what people are going through and the burden...to see people always coming through with HIS help (alone...other stuff doesn't help)...

I am touched, that you haven't stopped (would you stop it pls. ; ) ) writing positively about my being on the boards...frankly...I feel unworthy of that...a bit burdened...or rather it makes me feel obliged to live up to that...but not out of myself is it possible to keep on hanging on...it's more important ...I figure meanwhile... much better to be a practitioner of what one "preaches"...although if one doesn't know the sermons well (without being necessarily a real preacher or preachy)it's also impossible...takesboth...but being"over the hump" in life...I should focus more on what counts most in the "rest left"...how much???

Some run ins are IMO foreseeable here on the boards...but having been in TFI as you...I just figure you and others here on the board are in many ways very...very.very similar. Not all I super got along with in TFI...but I'd say with the vast majority....simply sheep...that's my explanation...and I don't get along with wolfs...foxes......goats...snakes and what the Bible has to offer as allegory.

Now...the fascination for the other sex/gender...for us the wonderful feministic side of God's creation...I think will never stop...though it will go IMO to other levels of deep appreciation and coexistance...the psychae/emotional...and eros part is naturally a very attractive part...and I must say I battled quite a bit with Jesus' resurrection "formula":

Mat 22:30 For 1063 in 1722 the resurrection 386 they neither 3777 marry 1060, nor 3777 are given in marriage 1547, but 235 are 1526 as 5613 the angels 32 of God 2316 in 1722 heaven 3772.
Mar 12:25 For 1063 when 3752 they shall rise 450 from 1537 the dead 3498, they neither 3777 marry 1060, nor 3777 are given in marriage 1061; but 235 are 1526 as 5613 the angels 32 which 3588 are in 1722 heaven 3772.
Luk 20:35 But 1161 they which shall be accounted worthy 2661 to obtain 5177 that 1565 world 165, and 2532 the resurrection 386 from 1537 the dead 3498, neither 3777 marry 1060, nor 3777 are given in marriage 1548:

The longer I believe...the more I think in this threefold existence...me: body...soul...spirit...that is direct approach of Paul

1Th 5:23 And 1161 the very 846 God 2316 of peace 1515 sanctify 37 you 5209 wholly 3651; and 2532 [I pray God] your 5216 whole 3648 spirit 4151 and 2532 soul 5590 and 2532 body 4983 be preserved 5083 blameless 274 unto 1722 the coming 3952 of our 2257 Lord 2962 Jesus 2424 Christ 5547.

Obviously the Spirit is the most important part of the three...later comes the completion with the new ...resurrected body...that must be quite a change in our existence...cannot be foreseen/felt IMO...Paul got a glimpse of that IMO...it was he himself being transported/translated to the 3rd heaven etc....silly Berg wanted to show off too with his ultimate trip etc...

Well...women can be theeeeee temptation....used from the other side...not to malign the wonderful woman in general...and I know personally how super-intelligent...gifted (arts/science etc.) and beautiful they are...however God for some reason has willed, that while still here on earth or whatever the line of submission is God...Son...may be Holy Spirit then???!... and angels...man of faith...then women...if anyone feels that were "unjust"...well...tough...

I come from a very tolerant...feministic...environment during youth...meaning at that time I couldn't have cared less for this "machoism"...which it really isn't...it just happens to be just loyality to that what God has spoken and who am I and who are others...including women...no matter how gifted and beautiful..(it's anyway a gift...which they often seem to forget...or whom to thank for)

So the Word of God relativates all our thoughts and intentions and brings them into the right context...also here on the board.. and journeys is of course a tough field/board for those...who think...Christians are an easy stupid prey....

Most of all I read also in the divers wordly gazettas, mostly in my country...right at easter time e.g. in Spiegel magazine...Jesus was portrayed as some "Communist" rebel...frontpage red background, HIS features in black...like that they had covered other leftists in the past...the title was: rebel of God...now the genitive in German I personally understand here as either someone of God...sent of God or a rebel under God's general oversight...even against HIM (rebel of Germany could be either contra or pro the German state)...then it makes the headline...to me purposely...ambiguous...super naughty of them again...well...that is old hat...as some readers also wrote them...Jesus is not just a rebel...social reformer...just age old theological/modern criticism.

So I come quite a bit prepared for the various thoughts of the unbelievers...so we "ain't mere pushovers"...I still would like to learn a lot...but since you have been out longer ...still believing or rather very much believing...God bless you!!!!!...and others as well...God bless Pastor Don and others as well...we learned through university studies...books internet etc.post TFI...definitely we learned more not less...so whatever I missed I am very much interested to learn here too...if it happens to fit in my time-schedule...

I also consider it a duty to post here...to keep the thought alive...that post TFI is the better Christian life...not the ugly backslider life...rather the contrary.

That takes pick and shovel...but it worked for me and I wish to encourage others...to think not little of the calling in and through Christ Jesus...

Friends/contacts even relatives...lovers may come and go ...but the amazing timeless constant in our lives happens to be Christ Jesus and HIS amazing love for us...not because we were good at any time and deserving...but just to prove the father's love for mankind...and some people seem to overlook at soap-box...that some day God is heavily judging the rejecting world...God is just the very contrary of a easy push-over...being longsuffering and patient doesn't mean we could exploit that forever.

Well...I have the feeling...that many woman want to change their men into someone of their liking...we fall kind of simply into love with a woman...without knowing too much about her...and later...that can become difficult ; )...Women seem often to me much more "calculative" in their approach...whether someone got not only "the balls" but also the cheque-book...

I am not cured of the fascination from "the other side"...but no one is more loyal and faithful than Jesus Christ...so I know my priorities meanwhile and whom I owe allegiance and obedience...with the necessary marks and boundaries by the Word...countlessly trampled on and offended by TFI...being anomians and unable to put Galatians into the right perspective...

The thing I appreciate about the Indians is that much of their lifestyle matches quite a bit the priorities outlined in the Bible...of course without the explaining of the necessary salvation through grace alone etc....but respect for the elders...the marriage-customs are quite spiritual...covering of the woman of the head etc...where is that found much nowadays in westernized Christianity...to me the outcome of "moder theology"...and so I like to use the Indians as a "sting" against modernised Christianity...meaningif they hung on...why can't the Christians if it is found in the Word?

It wasn't like that before...kind of populism...so that greedy church leaders could pay their mounting bills and reach the masses unwilling to be too conservative...exception is still the catholic church...which is not concerned too much of what people think...

I quit here for the moment...love ya brother...
