Farmer:

Thanks for writing¡Xalways look forward to hearing from you, brother (goofy or not! ƒº).

I pray fervently for the worldwide Vineyard movement¡Xalways have¡XTF was a demonized/bastardized version of the earliest Jesus Movement, by Lonnie Frisbee and John Higgins, the original ¡§hippie preachers¡¨ (1965 vs. TF in 1968). Lonnie Frisbee introduced John Wimber, the original founder of the Vineyard, to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Those were taught in a ¡§lab¡¨ at Fuller Theological Seminary, and thousands of ¡§signs and wonders following¡¨ came there, and all over the world, in the beginning days of Vineyard.

That¡¦s completely gone, now, at least in the US. And revival is NOT being sought officially, but US Vineyard IS ¡§numbering Israel¡¨ the wrong way, so-to-speak, since the ¡§all-Vineyard conference last August.

I am still OK with the Vineyard worldwide, even many individuals still at the Houston Vineyard. My complaints are against the head pastor, and those following his flesh¡Xand he REALLY gets in the flesh about abuse of authority; having become an arrogant and blind fool in many, many ways¡Xsad.

Matthew 18:14-27 is NOT a suggestion, but a COMMANDMENT of Christ, and I intend to obey it to the full, even if he/they will not. I¡¦ll give account if I don¡¦t; to God

I learned that an email he sent me ATER I already communicated with his Assistant Pastor that I had ALREADY left was a kind of Oh, yeah was a kind of ¡§Oh, yeah? You can¡¦t quit---you¡¦re FIRED!¡¨ kind of childish response, in which he not only did not request that those minions of his who had offended me apologize¡Xhe gave me one week to apologize to them, after which he actually ¡§excommunicated¡¨ me, and forbid me any participation inn the Lord¡¦s Supper from then on¡Xkind of Berg¡¦s demented ¡§Bell, Book and Candle¡¨ catholic-like farce. What CRAP! Ridiculous¡Xno real power from the Lord, just a little piss-ant foaming at the mouth because someone dared to oppose him, and confront his hypocrisy!

So, anyway, I now have no alliance with eh Houston Vineyard whatsoever, and I left first, and the big ¡§power move¡¨ was complete bullshit. Maybe exer¡¦s not fitting in IS a kind of calling, in a way¡XNOT the TF way of old, of course, nor the ¡§slicker¡¨ BS of the current cult as it exists now¡Xthe worst BS it has EVER shown, IMO, but many of us know what specifically leads to cults and personality-cult followings from direct experience¡Xa lot of us have made now lift-long studies of cults, associated apologetics, helping professions many of us have needed ourselves, and so on.

I like some House church type meetings, unless they resemble the beginnings of a cult, which the last Houston Vineyard one I attended actually did¡XI gave them a piece of my mind, as well. One ¡§leader¡¨ was actually even telling me where I should SIT, in the other ¡§leader¡¦s¡¨ house¡Xa couple of real A¡Xholes. But here in then US you must be ¡§ordained¡¨ to marry and/or bury¡XI suppose anyone can do Communion, at least the Protestants can¡Xno law there.

I REALLY miss the gifts of the Holy Spirit that once were evident at the Houston
Vineyard¡Xmy back was healed, not at the main church, but at a small group meeting at a friend¡¦s house. My knees were partially healed at a totally different church I no longer attend, because, One, it¡¦s too far away, and two, they bring in some really weird speakers (heretics), and charge ENORMOUS fees for some very common Bible knowledge-type classes, and every otter sermon is about tithes and offerings; especially the kind of offering that ¡§obligates¡¨ god to almost immediately ¡§return 100-fold¡Xalso crap theologically¡Xbuilds a lot of high-dollar, high-turnover, WHITE-BREAD ignorant country giant mega-churches, though.

I haven¡¦t heard or seen much liberal theology-based stuff here in Houston, much¡Xguess I know what to avoid already, by experience.

Houston Vineyard¡¦s growth has been in the demographic of upper middle-class, double-degreed, high-dollar neo-yuppies (NEW Young Urban Professionals). Most of those believe in evolution, and ERALLY scorn us fewer-and-fewer ¡§young Earth Creationists¡¨, especially ones like me, who can always win every scientific argument against evolution, beginning with physics, chemistry, and linearly-developed logical and/or philosophical arguments of every kind. They don¡¦t like NOT being regarded as an actual authority! Too bad. They make ME puke, and Houston Vineyard has also begun to look down on the few of us who remain.

I guess that all one can do IS pray!.

I like the Hanuman reference¡Xreminds me of a ¡§pandemonium¡¨ of stupid monkeys, ALL!

Even Gautama Siddhartha (the original Buddha) left Indian because of too many ¡§demon monkeys¡¨.

Funny¡XTHAT reminds me of the Wizard of Oz¡¦s bad witch and her Flying Monkeys! A bunch of terroristic flying man-like animals following evil! Accurate regarding their inspiration, and who they follow!

Definitely NOT intelligent.

'Later!
