Dear OT2...dear brother...will be short for the moment the reply...

One thing I can't figure out yet is their excommunication procedure...one man alone can do that??? Bit weird IMO...IMO the Bible portion/section you quoted gives hint enough how to do it.

If he/they'd have something against you...finally it would take the whole congregation...probably that's what he wouldn't like...hearing may be some voices not in favour...even many

On theother hand...you might tell your piece now...may be not...may be he's not even willing to receive you for a talk...but may be others would do that for you??

He could argue...you're excommunicated...he's not willing to listen to you..."smart"

Anyway...I am leery of all such politics and that's why I chose not to be a member...I give my monthly financial support...but I can withdraw anytime it'd get too much for me to bear...I have advantages...but clearly also disadvantages.

The basic salvation message is very clear...the work with families with many children is commendable...much of the music is "alright"...though some sounds too jazzy or "off key" to me

Besides the role of women in the church...and the divorce and remarriage-thing...it really isn't the best altogether

But frankly...I don't think I would shade vinyards doorpost either...I thought about visiting them in Switzerland on vacation about 11 years back...meanwhile I am "cured" of those "longings"

I am not really antagonistic towards the charismatic fellow-brethren...but rather super careful...staying at "save" distance...

I was burned not only once but several times...so I had it...IMO

One reason of very many is ...that they mount up their pressure on members...seeking them to deliver the "goods"...proofs of being fruitful...when the leadership is more than once very rotten..."idiots"

I didn't have too much time yet to "resort" to basic pick and shovel about the early times, especially regarding the clergy...but here for starters:

wis h you HIS blessings and protection...all thebest in Jesus Christ.
