By coincidence there was a new thread in decembre last year starting on the germanic-language Christian board, where I got most of my "food for thought" over all the last, many years...mostly in reading modus...seldom posting.

It's called "Does God love all people"...I wanted to reply there...write in...for I felt something was missing then...but overall it was really worth pondering for a change.

+gott+Menschen

The widely known verse John 3:16 e.g....expresses, that God loves the world...but "loved" is in the Greek Aorist tempus mode...meaning it's not the continuous form...He already showed that maximum love...by giving His Son...it costs...

that much I know, that I love my kids the most and want no harm to be done to them...seeing them suffer is really hard to bear.

He made already His maximum "investment"...creation of the world...strings of promises...many fulfillments already (the rest I am sure gets fulfilled)..sacrificing His own Son...and now the question is...how does the world...people..... react to that? Are they realising their own...big deficits...their sins???
Do they want to be free from it??...pardoned?

I personally like the analogy in the world of today...huge financial deficits have been mounted up worldwide...bad banks been created...to store the "toxic papers"/derivats etc.

The wonderful thing in the spiritual (concerning Christianity) is...all can be forgiven...any amount of "money" is there...but it needs to be personally accepted....otherwise it is not done....for whatever person. And that is the most important decision to be made...sure there are many other important decisions in life...what profession...whom as mate...where to live etc.

And people who personally have decided for Christ...accepted Him as saviour...naturally also love the Word...for He is the living example of the Word...so not liking the Word/the Bible is not really possible for a true believer.
