You prefaced everything with if we believe exactly as you do. Yet you say we all see through a glass darkly. So what you really mean is that your clarity is superior to mine.
I think we are talking about the same God really, because he taught you to blame the sufferer. Right of the bat you assumed my outlook might be due to "resentment, envy and self-pity" and that I should have better control over my attitude. Yup the Lord is definitely watching me and thousands others suffer. It's not like I am lily white, but your God is surely as cruel as mine.
