I think what bugs me most is that Maria and Peter are still at the apex as far as adoration goes, and Berg is revered as a great man of God who had weaknesses, but according to TF PR department, it was largely the "hippies" that were not controlled who did the damage. The truth is that David Berg let his inner ravening wolf take charge, in the name of God and turned women into prostitutes (and some men, too) and destroyed the family unit with his One Wife doctrine,he urged young women to do sexually explicit dances for him on video, then he got down to his true desires and had very young children doing this, he broke up families as he saw fit, considered not being willing to "share" as a weakness, a sin of rebellion bordering on witchcraft (which oddly he also considered FFer's to be his "Gods' Witches"- his good kind of Witch), he supported underaged minors being put on "sharing schedules" with people who were old enough to be their parents, he encouraged older generation to do this, I've only scratched the David Berg surface so far-(as we all know) but he needs to be exposed, by MARIA/KAREN or whatever she calls herself now, as well as she needs to take responsibility for being a part of spearheading that and own up to the FACT that she participated and continued to think along those perverted lines with comments like the one about a little godly fondling not being bad for children, and then LJR was something she created all her own without Berg at the helm, so she is out of her mind because she does not see how truly twisted and perverted this is. Maybe her brain was already swiss cheese with syphillis or something, but she could make a hideous video Christmas Card, I suppose she could face the REAL TRUTH about things and let the chips fall where they may. It would be the first time in her life that she would have some meaningful PEACE. At least in knowing that she finally told the truth. Mother Eve went to her grave extolling the virtues of dear old dead dad, who molested her own children and some grandchildren it seems. She could have done something different. Karen is still alive. She could tell the real truth for a change. Of course there would be a heavy toll for telling the truth. But I suspect that toll is not nearly as heavy as the one for keeping on living a lie and then dying without ever having come clean.
Even though early COG did largely do witnessing and street ministry, there were dirty secrets at the top even back then.
I agree: More lies as they prepare for their future. I just hope more and more people who were raised in this will get help and get out because s__t rolls downhill and each generation will be effected as long as dirty secrets are kept and destructive doctrines are maintained. My wish for TFI is that all people of all generations will get help, get out, and if they want to do missions work, do it with organizations that don't have all the payload of dirt upon their liar's chair.
