It seems to me that the male sex drive is greatly distorted nearly everywhere, through pornography and the media in general. The message is...if you aren't feeling ready for sex almost anywhere and anytime something is seriously wrong with you.
In TFI I remember watching porn that was made in TF back in the early 80's, somewere in Asia. They called it by some other name, but it was little else than pornography, designed to dull peoples senses and bolster the pornographic activity in TF everywhere. Once our cognitive volitional faculties was distorted and corrupted in that important area, i.e. the controlling of the physical and sensual and in this case the purely selfserving pleasures under the guise of selfless sacrifice, the road was paved for more and there was thus essentially no stopping us in nearly any other area. So once we proved to be pushovers there new vices were introduced, and saying that I think in particular of the adult-minor sexual relations. Something that previously was anathema and unthinkable not only became ok, but even morphed into a virtue in front of our eyes – persuaded with a pitiful and patently inverted argument using the same appeal as the initial one. Nobody objected, or nobody was heard to object, unfortunately.
In other words, imo, just like in the world today these bounds are being broken down (BTW not a new thing), so the sexual debauchery and depravity between adults in TF was, if not the very mechanism that opened the floodgates for more debauchery, then one of most important steps in order to achieve that condition.
For the record, sex is not bad and it is not a sin, within the frames it is designed. With those natural boundaries broken down, it can lead to practically anything, as we have seen.
Again, although not exhaustive, the above is my very own conclusions on this matter, and never to be meant derogatory towards anyone, not even myself.
