I have not read the book you mention, but it sounds interesting.
I couldn't agree more about living consistently with our deepest being. I would be very surprised to find that on the spiritual level we are something other than pure love.
What feels right to me is that all religions are here for a purpose and that in each there is some truth. I also believe that their spiritual or mystical paths lead to the same God. I figure that God is only one and that we all worship the same God regardless of how we perceive Him.
My religion is very simple - Do unto others... And the second "commandment", just as important as the first - Have fun, enjoy life...
