This is really to posters here who want to answer and I am curious about perspectives now, post family. I won't dis anyone's personal choice though I might comment that literalism makes no sense to me, personally. If the bible was 100 percent literal and accurate then there would not be vastly different stories about the resurrection in two different gospels telling two distinctly different detailed descriptions of what occurred and who was, or was not present. I personally believe there is beauty in most religious writings but I see no veracity in a God that would burn forever and ever, those who do not accept one rigid "truth". I guess that means I lean more towards "Oprah God's" than any one exclusive religion, yet still leaning more towards rational reality based non-belief. I have no clue what there could be beyond this life, or whether what is left is what we each touch when passing through. After all, there are clearly some movers and shakers in this world who have made great contributions to the world around them, who had no religion at all. Many individuals do who are never known for their actions, religious or not. That is how I see life...No one single way or one sole answer.
