Let's say you are a likeable person who is looked at as being there for comfort, support ,inner conflict, and a soldier who is atheist or agnostic wanted to talk to you, not about God or the bible but about things done or considered that go against that persons ethics and morality; are you saying you couldn't talk to him or her? Or now that the military openly accepts gays, would you be able to counsel a gay Christian impartially, or would they be referred to a psychiatrist or psychologist?
