I really didn't think that it would be considered 'dodgy' or 'funny' to discuss the cultural and political aspects of the issue here. For example kudos to New York State and the new law allowing same sex couples to marry. It's the right thing.

From what I just read it looks quite likely that genetics is a part of the picture when it comes to sexual orientation ...just a part of it, with environment and all the rest playing different roles in a complex process.
Whether purely by choice, or hereditary, or a combination of both ...I still think that it's wrong to label a gay person a being in sin whether he's saved or unsaved, and needing to ask for prayer in order to change. Live and let live.
