One thing that has bugged me when it comes to visions and prophecies "from God (Jesus Christ)" is how many of them there have been and how they are so connected to fear provoking messages. Seems like if this has been going on since the seventies, maybe Jesus and God didn't have anything to do with it any more than the thousands of (since the seventies) warnings of rapture on specific dates. Reminds me of the "warning tract" and the fear factoring used in so many cults whether the race wars Manson predicted and tried to incite, to david berg's 1990's Jesus is coming back, to so many different "spirit filled" churches that thrive on prophecies of impending doom. There are many current "prophets" in America that continue to spew false predictions and then when one out of two hundred sort of happens, then it's "look! I told you so! I speak from God". Just a thought.
