Mixed marriages – all sorts of mixes – are almost always heavily charged with problems. The ideology of the proverbial peaceful coexistence of mutually exclusives (or even just moderately hard-to-combine variations) is often far from reality in the long run. Most who have experienced it can testify to that.
You say Berg was ‘systematic and goal oriented’. I agree. The (literally) demonic and deadly doctrine that ‘the end justifies the means’, was implemented heavily in TF, wittingly or not.
It is a favourite Jesuit doctrine also.
Therefore, Berg was anything and everything, a real chameleon, for his own licentious ends. He could use any ideology as long as it got him nearer to where he wanted to go. The end justifies the means, remember.
If you look closer at the motivational factor, the doctrines behind these despots you mention, as well as their strategies, and you can pick any despot the world has ever known, you will find at the base the identical doctrines, also known as communist dogmas, as popery (catholic dogmas), as fascism, as naziism, as well as the active dynamic within lots of cult and other settings. Is it only a coincidence? I think not.
In brief, we are dealing with all fraternities who believe in and think it their prerogative to lord it over others, down to the details in their lives, on pain of the death penalty, and often arbitrarily so.
