I don't think for someone to slip on a banana peel is funny. I particularly dislike a program in this country where they show videos of accidents and people laughing about it. I just don't understand that.
But I understand a lot of humor that holiness people do not seem to notice. I think it all depends on whether somebody gets hurt or NOT. There is nothing hurtful in playing with words to point out how ridiculous certain things can be. It is called satire. :)
