Possibly - however, interesting that you quote Churchill who was also a great leader of the troops.

I've heard all these things over and over. I'm still reminded, however, that terrorists and their ilk were given a message and one that they needed, regardless of soft peddling around Hussein (I guess 20 years wasn't long enough to soft peddle? and 10s of 1,000 of people gassed wasn't enough WPM to go after - so what if he buried them or burned them, they were there and who knew what he did with them). As an American taxpayer, I'm glad we did what we did. Unfortunately, because of world pressure, we're back tracking and terrorists and people like them are waiting for their day in the sun again. I only wish we had gone after Korea first, they pose more of a threat. If you think terrorism is not a threat, ask any Israeli what they have to live with day after day and I guess 9/11 didn't really happen. Well, as you can see, I'm conservative and we probably won't get anywhere having a conservative vs. liberal discussion. At least not here.
