No, I'm saying, and agreeing with you, that talking politics with friends can be a bad thing. You might lose your friends. I generally agree that talking politics on a site like this is dicey. We do not come together because of political views. I'm not saying political views should be banned, but I choose not to go there. If I want to debate politics, I will choose another forum.
