The stuff about Marisha slipped past me. There's lots of things I don't know about re: Family history, who's who, etc. I was a peon in TF and got out many years ago.
Which is why I haven't volunteered to be Sam's editor. Although I'm certain I could tighten up his storyline and pitch--making it easier to read--I have no expertise on the content.
I think many of your criticisms of Sam's articles are valid, btw. Unfortunately, he's on the defensive where you are concerned, and I don't think he can hear what you're saying.
I still think the bulk of what Sam has compiled in Newsletter 16 on Family Care Foundation is valuable information, even if it doesn't meet journalistic standards for investigative reporting. It is what it is--a blog of sorts--an expose--a one-man campaign for truth.
Here's an idea: Perhaps Sam would give the two of us permission to edit Newsletter 16 into an article on Family Care Foundation that could be posted on the exfamily.org website?
I may be willing to overlook some of the flaws in Sam's work because it really disturbs me that Family Care Foundation got on the Combined Federal Charities Campaign (CFC)list of approved charity organizations. If you look at the service website for the political grandfather of faith-based organizations (www.charitablechoices.com/), you will find a list of 10 accountability standards for charities approved by Combined Federal Charities. I cannot understand how Family Care Foundation could have actually satisfied these accountability standards. You may also notice, btw, that FCF and Christian Charities USA are not listed as affiliates of Charitable Choice.
Makes me wonder whether a CFC staff has been FF'd.
