Really?

I don't see how that would fit, at least from having been around for some time now and knowing what I know. I can't think of anyone who might even come close to fitting my strong remarks about a person assuming a position of power and influence, while breaking moral and ethical rules and answering to no one. (There was someone who fit that description before, but he seems to have dropped out of the picture for now.)

It is possible many of us have some leftover cultist traits, and that's what these boards have helped to process and dispel, as ex-members learn to from each other. We either strengthen our views, or we find out we have flawed reasoning and move on. People do change their minds, I've seen it happen, and I wrote what I did in the hopes of bringing about change.

Even people who never were in TF may exhibit some of cultic traits because we don't have a monopoly on cult-like mindsets. In some cases we had these traits before even joining. As part of the detoxification process, many of us have had to go back to examine our mental-emotional state before we joined.

Sense of humour considered, what I wrote was very serious in nature, and I wouldn't throw it around lightly to diss anyone.
