I know the feeling

I'm having one of those weeks too Acheick and I definitely know the feeling. Sometimes it seems like people are just waiting for others to fail. I understand there is a lot of displaced anger out there, but being the recipient one too many times sometimes makes me wonder if it is really worth it. I wish we could all be a bit more empathic and supportive of each other.

On another note (and this is not to you Acheick), please could the SG/FG thing be given a rest? If people here read some of the letters from parents IN the Family on movingon, they might understand how much that rejection hurts and has always hurt. No one can force anyone's forgiveness. Some people have managed to work things through with their parents, and others haven't but going over this again and again really serves no purpose in my opinion. While taking responsibility is important, isn't healing the most important thing? I think certain things sometimes need to be stated, but then the hope is (my hope at this point in my life anyway) that we can move on and find some way to support and accept each other.

Perhaps I'm just tired too of all the fighting.
