Current teachings of Maria and Peter point to the fact that they want to toss out their criminal teachings and replace it for something less incriminating, such as "it was individual acts done by individuals".
That attitude is at the heart of their current revisionist teachings about the pedophilia taught and practiced in the Family. I don't believe all engaged in such practices but it was not isolated to individual situations because the directives came straight from the top, from David Berg himself a confessed pedophile.
It would have been so much easier if Berg first and Peter and Maria later had faced this evil in their midst and swiftly dealt with it - but preferred to justify themselves, like Saul turning a dream into a nightmare.
