Novels based on our memories. That's why you can say whatever you want, people take it as your opinion and not necessarily fact. Look how many memoirs have been written and some nasty things said about others. They cannot really sue because it is merely "memoirs." So, go ahead, and do the best you can. We know it's based on fact.
