Hi Acheick!

As to the letters there is access to the originals. It is possible to do a comparison expose and then let the family come forward and try to sue someone. I would love for that to happen. The countersuits for abuse filed on a legally registered representative of the family would be a great way to expose the fam's doctrines. WS would have to come out of the closet.

I think the way to do that is through a unified unremitting attack on the family doctrines in public wherever possible. One of the heartbreaking things about the family is people get caught and hang on to what they know.

It took me a while to get out. As a leader I still vividly remember sneaking out to the local library to read an expose on the family in Christianity Today. It really shook me up but I still thought God would get me for doubting the "profit". We are dealing with strong imprinting and conditioning here, particularly in those who have spent all or the major portion of their lives in the family.

Another hurdle to overcome for many is the fact that M,M&P have infantalized the membership and in a sense "frozen" their ability to make clear decisions independant of the group. To slip into Star Trekean terminology. They have been assimilated by a Borg-Like hive. Until a member is separated from the "collective" of the Family he or she will have almost insurmountable difficulty thinking independantly.

That is why I believe that cutting the information stream within the family through public exposure and clear challenges to doctrine may help. All that M&P want or need from the membership is distant adoration and especially money. They may be able to operate in third world contries with abandon but in the western world, if they are truly known as an abusive cult, their scams and money making methods will be harder to promote. Without western developed country support they cannot raise funds.

We have the discovery engine of the Worlwide Web and can push the issue in a million ways. I have reason to believe that the family is close to collapse. They are a shell of what they used to be and are vulnerable. If they are constantly challenged over their abusive, controlling and criminal past they will be forced to deal with this everytime they come up to the public eye.

It is also possible, with a concerted effort to expose the family, members will eventually have to return to their country of origin. Few developed contries want foreigners with abusive or politically questionable backgrounds, particularly after 911. Remember, the family was in Lybia! The letters are politically racist, sexually inappropriate and some publications will mightily offend.

In today's paranoid culture that is a huge advantage in exposing the family for what they are. I may sound hard but what can be harder than being a family member in Maria's orbit of influence, like being in a black hole. My hope is as SGA's grow stronger they will carry on and help all of our brothers and sisters to get out.
