There were two main reasons, Kerry

Kerry, there're were a couple issues working their weasely little selves out at the time 'IRFers Beware' came out, and one of the first things is that Berg had given the IRFer members things a go for a while, hoping IRFers would still give the shirts off their backs even tho they weren't the fabled tithing "110 percenters" (To which I say Great Slabs of Baloney! Like, you have to live in a Home and give one penny out of ten to be sold out to Jesus? Good grief! Sounds like the Pharisees picking one-tenth of the leaves of dill and cummin outta their gardens.)

So Mo milked the IRF thing for all it was worth and when it didn't turn out to be any kind of like side pool of supporters, he thought, "What the hell! I been merciful and easy going long enough. Time to lower the boom on them buggers!" You know, he was always experimenting, then trashing the lab with the experiment half through and moving on to somehting new. The man did not have a lot of patience. So it was high time to trash the IRF thing.

You notice soon the ML cover came out with these two IRFers in their bedroom and the guy is pulling a huge money box out of his top closet and when his wife asks "What you doing, honey?" he says "I'm starting to tithe again." and the whole friggin' idea was that IRFers were hoarding and selfishly loaded with cash, like the guy had so many gold bars inside the money box it'd have dropped and caved a hole in the floor it the selfish bastard didn't at LEAST give a tenth of his hoard to God.

And the second sick factor is that Berg alwasy told us that sex was THE greatest need of a man on this earth. Berg said that men HAD to have sex so bad that they'd KILL to get it. He said in the FF letters that it was a woman's friggin duty to let a rapist rape her. Remember that Letter?

So then one day a man breaks into your apartment and kills your wife. Instead of Berg "weeping with those that weep" the FIRST thing that comes into his sherry-preserved brain was the question, "WHY would any man break into an apartment where a woman is alone and kill her?" Berg's conclusion: Men need sex so bad they'll kill to get it, so he HAD to have wanted sex and she HAD to have refused him. Wow! He was one hell of a poor prophet about getting the truth about what REALLY happened, but we sure did get a good look into HIS mind, what he was thinking.

Berg said what he said in "IRFers Beware" because he could understand NO other reason for a man killing a woman other than that she "selfishly" refused to give him sex. And on top of that, the IRFers experiment hadn't really produced the fruit Berg thought it would. So he friggin' USED your wife and you as dandy bad examples to push his point. Kill the IRFer program. It was all political. That's my take on it anyway.
