Well, I guess since Berg was already dead when I left, Maria just couldn't do the subject justice. I got a couple of rebukes in public like PD said, both in Japan and in Brazil, when I came back from Japan. They took me down from whatever responsibility I had bit by bit, until they felt I couldn't do too much harm. I finally decided to come back to the states while still officially in the F, but mostly to be closer to my two older sons. Then, the LJR came out, and that was it for me. I told them that since I was working with one of their kings at the TV station, and had my own program, that if they didn't tell him why I left I would. I ended up giving him the 7 GN's on the LJR, and needless to say, it made quite a difference in his attitude about the family. Whatever. THey still tried to soft sell it when he already knew what the deal was, and he pulled the GN's out of his coat pocket, and said: "I know what it says, and you're not telling me the truth!" So much for the "we're not hiding anything" idea! Anyway, it was good to see what happened when someone they were deceiving found out what the truth was. It doesn't happen very often.
