She was eventually adopted by a couple named Jonathan and (???). He was Indian and she was Italian. They seemed to loved her a lot and she was pretty attached to them. Apparently some consideration went in to who was allowed to adopte her. The child was half Indian, half caucasion, so they wanted a couple with the same "mix" to adopt her. Thinking back, it's hard to believe that any thought would have gone in to it, but I'm sure there were at least SOME thoughtful people in the cult who wanted the little girl to have a decent family.
