Not the 70s - after Berg died

Posted by Acheick on June 19, 2002 at 08:12:02:

Since there was a gripe about digging up stuff from the 70s and not being in the present view of things - here's a post I thought really good for the present situation in the F. - hope the poster doesn't mind my repost:

All that fear, all that paranoia. All those divisions between babes, leaders, lto's, cm's, fm's..... When Berg died there was a window of opportunity, Maria and Peter were faced with continuing on as king and queen in the lifestyles of the rich and notorius, guess it was hard to pass up. But I have no sympathy for serial killers, serial molesters, etc. because the overwhelming majority, INCLUDING BERG, were never sorry, never had any remorse, and never ceased their behavior. They just, as typical, covered it up, blamed the victims, and aggressively pushed P.R. So, if I am a detractor, I am happy to be that. I do not feel agression towards those still within the f., as I stayed in for a long time and know how we were trained to deny, even to ourselves, what was written, what occurred, etc. Berg himself said, (and I think he quoted Hitler?) That if you were going to tell a lie, tell a big one so no one would believe that it could be a lie. As far as using bible verses, I have heard it said that "The word is a sword and you can use it to heal or to kill" There has been so much bloodshed in the f. and in other groups that are proficient in the killing dept. I won't debate with the "Word" because I have been stabbed by it way to many times to care about it anymore. But I will speak, as an individual who has experienced sexual abuse, that there is no excuse for the serial molesters of the mind, body and soul.
