Without elaborating or going into too many details, experiences, Bergular trauma, etc--lots of things that still get me confused somethimes, THERE'S ONE THING I can clearly attest to and that is, that I joined the COG/Family to serve Jesus. And I stayed in the Family because I believed it was the way Jesus had called me to serve Him. So when I left the Family I did not stop believing in Jesus, and low and behold I now can look to Jesus in a better more down-to-Earth happy way than I ever did when I was in the Family. And it doesn't bug me in the least to get to know atheists, or agnostics or New Age friends, or what have you. There is a lot that I find credible in what others believe.
