And humans are not all the same. Not everyone heals. Not all damage is of the same entity.
What about people who are not able to move on, because the damage done to them is too extensive?
Are they less good because 'god' did not bless them with healing? because they are not good enough, strong enough, not godly enough? Or is it because what they went through was too horrific to overcome? there are things that are indeed too horrific. They should not happen, but they do.

Merry Berg has not been able to move on to a 'normal' life. I met her and that is what we talked about a few years ago. Since then she kept having other issues, as it seems to never end.

Watchman died. One of the things that killed him was exactly that attitude...what is the matter with you, why don't you move on? He hated that feeling because he had always been a very active go forward type of guy and now he had become a crippled person. That ate away his dignity and his manhood so while the rest of his colleagues moved on he was left with a totally different
option.
We need to remember how crippling this damage can be even when we deal with invisible realities. Severe and protracted trauma is very damaging. How many people here see a psychiatrist, a therapist, on a regular basis, have to have medication prescribed just to try to be able to improve the quality of an abject life? Do you think that is fun, when it is the result of somebody just wanting to get their rocks off on you?

Rocky, did Canada pay for your therapy or did you pay for it? Here it is very hard to find good and affordable mental/emotional health care and few are specialized in complex PTSD. this means a huge burden in trying to constantly find the resources, or the money to ensure a measure, a modicum of healing, at least enough to survive and keep going.

Not considering all of this, is like saying to somebody who is run over by a drunk driver, "why don't you move on" when their quality of life is severely impacted and they struggle. How many cripples actually get to walk? Many don't. They will remain on their wheelchair. It is not all miracle. It is not all healing. It is also life is just like THIS.

Instead of focusing on the drunk driver, (and the eventual forgiveness that will be extended to him/her) I think it is important to focus on the person who lost their health and look at a lifetime of therapy and efforts and suffering just because of someone's carelessness, and will stare this loss in the face sometimes for the rest of their life.
