This is what I think Joseph is missing and probably never will be able to completely understand since he didn't live under the rules, regulations, tenets, directives and years of indoctrination that exmembers have. It's far more complex than his simple quote. Sorry, it didn't do anything for me as it apparently did for you. But there you go, none of us are exactly alike or are in the same groove going through the same process. And as for your point of it taking people sometimes a while to get through the process of leaving, having it sometimes be a gradual process, I just don't think it should take 10, 20 or 30 years to realize what the F. is all about. That sounds like more an addiction and an illness than waking up gradually.
