It's sad that you would feel you're in a no win situation. I've always aprreciated your "outsider" perspective, being one who has been close enough to the cult but never having joined. I agree that the black-and-white mindset exists, which is why I quoted you. I am sorry posting your quote here led to so much trouble. I thought it was strong enough as a stand-alone statement, and I didn't think it would be out of context. I would like to think it wasn't the cause of the trouble, but it certainly may have led up to it. Well, I guess it's not always as simple as you make it out to be.

You seem to be convinced that there is a point being made here, but honestly I am not sure what it is. You are saying that your crime is being different and having a different opinion, and I would hope that this is not what it is all about. You've showed up before and posted freely and it was fine. Nobody harassed you whenever you showed up. Certainly you are allowed to have an opinion on this board and encouraged to have a personality of your own?

I may be slow about these things, but I still can't figure out what it is that you think "happened" exactly and how we got here. All I know is there were some leftovers from another discussion from another board thanks to my quote of the week.

You may be referring to things from crossfire, but if you think terrible things were said about you and Jane here, pls let me know.

(BTW, it's quite probable that Family members are saying things about you too, but they are doing it behind your back.)

Well, I would certainly want you to feel welcome here, to be yourself, and offer your perspective on things, however different they are.
