I didn't mean to imply that you are a member of any flock or should be unless that's what you wanted. And why would you want to blend in? People who are going to be your friends like you for who you are and the cool things you do. Indivuality is awesome. Some people are afraid of it and afraid to be who they really are.

I also wanted to say that I believe that there are a lot of good people in the famliy with lots of potential for really doing good things - as missionaries or in secular ways. I think their exposure to the cult has effectively imobilized them - like the post here today about Shirley's daughter. In other, more isolated, cases I believe that the family and their machinery has enabled some to actually do good things around the world. However in every case, the family uses successful works to disseminate their doctrine, which I personally absolutely hate.

I think in a lot of ways it is really interesting to have someone such as your self posting on these boards. If you've been studying the family pro and con for the last two years you have got to have some pretty amazing insights.
