I think it's much more complex than any of us can even imagine. All we have is the western media and sometimes that can be quite biased, even if it is more open than other countries. It's all politics, everyone is trying to scratch everyone's back in order to get their way. Do you really think Egypt and Saudi Arabia are our allies? They only pretend to be for their own gain, (they want us to buy their oil so they can continue to be rich - all the while putting down the West to their own countrymen,) but then so does just about every country. We pretend to be Turkey's ally so we can have bases there, in spite of the injustices they do to other countries. It's just a mess, that's all. We're all too big for our britches now. The threat of nuclear war is scary to everyone, including world leaders, no one wants that, but they all threaten it.

I no longer look at it as so cut and dry. That was a favorite tactic of Berg. He loved to harp on things and pretend that he knew all about politics when in fact, he was just guessing and using it for his own gain. To think that he tried to get us to believe that the holocaust was a fake. What an idiot. He hated the Jews and it tainted his way of thinking. We have to try and be objective and not fall victim to that mentality again. We are all human beings with likes and dislikes, cultures and customs, fears and phobias, hurts and losses - muslims, jews, Christian, non believers alike. If we can't figure out how to get along, then the end will be just as predicted in the Bible, I assume.
