I noticed Joseph ignored it, however...maybe he just didn't want to hear it

"... then I would suggest some of the anti-Berg people offer an alternative, and put it out there."

But they do!!! A couple of months ago when I was looking for help for a place for my son (a rebellious exmember teen) to land in the states, right away Achiek was offering to help, and was going to talk to her boys if my son could stay with them until he could do the GED, work on a driver's license and be able to move to a job possibility at Yosemite. She was offering to even drive him up to Yosemite to help him get orientated there etc. As it is other alternatives developed and it worked out differently, but we were really happy to have the offer of help from Achiek. There's an example of "anti Berg people" being more than ready and willing to help. By the way, he went to stay with his sister for a few weeks, who is very anti-Berg and she's the one who helped him pass the GED.

To add some balance to this subject, after doing the GED my son is now being helped by a first generation FM F member, who's given my son a job and a place to live. Because he's FM he seems to be pro Family, but we were able to contact him through his daughter, who is what you would call "anti Berg". She posted info on the "anti Berg" youthsite Movingon about the possibilities that her Dad can offer to SGs leaving the F.

So what we have here is a concrete example of how a varitey of individuals, irrespective of their feelings about Berg and/or the Family, can help a teens and young adults who need help concrete post Family help.

The main thing is the assistance, not who is helping more or who is not helping. Also the quality of the help provided. If it's to make them dependent on just another group cult-like community then that sucks. But if the assistance provided helps the exmember SG learn to cope with living out here in this big wide complicated world, then who cares if the person providing the help is still pro Family or not?
