Someone contacted me a couple of years ago wanting to bring his RV down to where I lived and visit for awhile. I couldn't help but think he was on a fund-raising trip and we were just another way of gaining support. Even if we couldn't help with a dime, we were being considered as useful in some way, if even as a place to land and base out of while they did their fund raising. I couldn't stomach the idea that I would be parcel to their fund-raising trip and I kind of blew him off. I could just tell that he wasn't really THAT interested in me and good ole times so much as his present agenda, raising funds for the field. I could just tell, it was so obvious. I noticed that he makes a habit of hanging around exmembers or members that are not full-time while he does his fund raising. I suppose that is because he cannot be in a full-time home in the states since they need clearance or something, so the next choice is exmembers or live outs. They are such users.
