Taste vs test

It's because we have tasted the sweet flavored food from His hand at some point and are able to recognize it as we go to taste it again and again. It is the same as how we, His sheep, hear His voice and we know Him. We may have been confused about voices and all of that but as we grow, just like a little baby, we move on to know when He speaks so that we also recognize and do not follow the hireling.

But we are afraid when the interesting thing is we shouldn't be. We are His and all we have to do filter away the noise and the distractions because we are able to recognize as He speaks to us.

The idea that some chain or hierarchy or leadership or authority exists that is above and in between us and our God is not biblical although the Bible appears to speak of it. Jesus, the Son of God and no one else is there for us as an intercessor. As Christians, our connection is direct and not through a link, much less familiar spirits and demons. What the Family doctrine teaches is beyond Christianity - or better yet, behind Christianity. Their teachings are like the tare which was sawed onto the field along with the good seed - that is why we must taste and see it is of God or not.
