I know some Fmers that don't even read the pubs they get. I'm able to relate to them and them to me as equals. They think about stopping to do the TRF and I think some day soon they will make a complete break.

I think that they keep their Fmer status because they still think the AC might rise soon and the endtime prophecies the way the F always taught will finally be fulfilled. My other impression is the reason why some people stay on as Fmers is because they feel that by so doing they are still somehow "dropped out", in the world but not of the world. An Fmer recently told me that he never ever wanted to have to work a 9 to 5 job as he does now, and he's still hoping that somehow he can get out of having to do so. So I guess that by keeping his Fmer status he's hoping that will some day give him a way to be dropped out of the system again. Personally I don't agree at all with that type of reasoning.

The Fmers that I know from around here have very little contact with the CM family, so I am a bit mystified as to why they continue to do there Trf and send 10%. They don't have any witnessing stats to report and all they get are pubs in return. (The wife reads them, but the husband doesn't.)
