Taking our share of blame, but not all of it

Yes, even that pain you describe gets less sharp as time goes on, otherwise you wouldn't be able to bear it.

I think it's wonderful of you to have owned up to your share of the responsiblity for your child being in the Family, but I'm hoping that you do not take ALL the blame. For example, all that hurt your daughter suffered was not inflicted by you, I'm sure, but by leaders, selfish Family members, etc.

Part of cutting through the tangeled Gordian Knot of our Family experience is taking our share of the blame (and not blaming it all on Berg or the group), yet being able to correctly attribute blame to Berg for his harsh policies, and to others for the wrong they inflicted. Sometimes it seems like too much to sort out but we do have time and each other to help understand.
