Actually, I would like to see that. In my opinion, media damage would hurt more than legal damage. Media damage cast a bad light on the Family as a name, people will make their own decisions about situation regardless of what the court says. A court case can be hushed up, media can't. I don't think the group would ever shut down over a court case, they would find a way to keep operating incognito, a major media event would, I think anyway, have further reaching repercussions.
