I've heard for example that Juan in Latin America has such a power base that even if he pissed Peter and Maria off bigtime, they couldn't get rid of him. And all these guys know how to smile at each other while sticking in the knives anyway. They know the ropes.
and look at how they shove each other into the meat-grinder when they want to solidify their power base. Maria did tha with Faithy and Hosea to get rid of any "royal heirs" to the throne of David. Not that either of them were faultless cuz they sure weren't, but Maria was out to destroy them.
