Adam Ant and Bow-Wow-Wow shared some members with Adam and the Ants. Found along the web:

"Malcolm McLaren brilliantly managed the Sex Pistols to notoriety. With Bow Wow Wow--several members of Adam & The Ants teamed with 15-year-old Annabella Lwin--he didn't do so good. While the '80s new wave scene was ripe for exploitation with one-hit wonders cashing their chips quickly, Bow Wow Wow were doomed to a similar fate. Since their musical worth and public personas were far more marginal than the guttural attack of the Pistols, they never caught on beyond a vague hip cache. "

I keep forgetting that Jane and I were just kids when we got together. I'm two years younger than her, so when she found me in 1979 (still living at my parents house), I was still interested in going to clubs.

She was not aware of any current music, and not that aware of most standard rock.

We went to concerts a lot. Big places like Anaheim Stadium for acts like David Bowie, small places like the Roxy for Bow-wow-wow. I did go to both US Festivals (Jane went to one of them).

Some of the other acts we saw live at the time: Devo, Wall of Voodoo, Talking Heads, Oingo Boingo, B-52's... The Police...uh... and others.

I remember when she saw "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at the Tiffany Theatre on Sunset Blvd, circa 1979. I'm not sure she ever got over that. I think she was still actually in the Family at the time.

Now, I'd rather be tied to a chair and have lemonade poured in my eyes than go to a concert.

Too old, and lazy.
